Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of technology-based education models in midwifery education, focusing on how digital tools and platforms impact student learning outcomes, readiness for midwifery practice, and professional development. A systematic literature review was conducted to gather and analyze studies published in the last 5-10 years, with a focus on e-learning, virtual simulations, and other technology-based teaching methods in midwifery education. The findings suggest that the integration of technology significantly enhances student engagement, knowledge acquisition, and clinical skills development. Technology-based learning also increases accessibility for students in remote areas and provides more flexible and personalized learning experiences. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, faculty training, and digital literacy remain, particularly in rural settings. The study concludes with recommendations for improving midwifery education through thoughtful incorporation oftechnology, ensuring that all students have equal opportunities to benefit from digital learning tools.
